AWARDS & PRIZES

All winners must be present at the festival to win prizes!

Below is a list of all of the current prizes for the 4th Annual I.CARE Trash Derby. Prizes will continue to be added as they are received. Stay tuned to see which prizes end up in which category!

Dive Shop Division

Diving with a participating dive shop automatically puts you in a giveaway for a chance to win some amazing dive-related prizes! If you are on the winning dive shop's team, you will receive an additional entry into the giveaway. Divers must dive their dives and be present to win!

Private Boat Division & Land/Shore Division

Cash Prizes based on most lbs/person. Debris lbs will be divided by total number of participants on the team. All team members must register to participate.

Cash Prize Per Division:

1st Place: $1,000
2nd Place: $400
3rd Place: $150

NEW Plastics Catagory

This category encourages plastic removal. Exchange plastic for points! Plastic points can be used to redeem smaller prizes from the I.CARE tent at the festival. Details to be discussed at the Team Leader Meeting.

NEW Traps Prize Category

This category encourages trap removal. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place to be awarded at the festival. Details to be discussed at the Team Leader Meeting.

Overall Winner - $250 and Wild Bird Sanctuary private tour and prize basket

Most Unique Item 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place

Bring your most unique debris to the derby to be voted on or leave it for with a volunteer at a drop-off location to be brought to the festival. Take a photo and email to trashderby@gmail.com if leaving at drop off location or for large items. Be sure to include your team name and item description. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place will be determined by popular vote at the festival.
